Conservatives Gain Kirkham Seat in Fylde Council By-Election
The Kirkham Ward by-election for Fylde Borough Council took place on Thursday 21 May 2026, and the Conservatives have recorded a convincing victory.
Adam Jake Brierley (Local Conservatives) was elected with a strong majority, marking a gain from the Independent seat previously held by Damian Buckley.

Joshua Connor Roberts – Reform UK - 534 votes (27.3%)
Oliver Mark Mills – Labour Party - 129 votes (6.6%)
Philip James Morgan – Liberal Democrats - 107 votes (5.5%)
Turnout: 34% (1,963 ballot papers issued from 5,768 electorate)
